Contemporary Drawing
First Friday of the month, 1:00am - 3.30pm
These classes explore different modern drawing techniques that focus on staying positive and being experimental to develop your observation skills and bringing out your own style. We will use pencils, charcoal, inks and more and I will give you different prompts, photographs and still life set ups.
What you will need to bring with you:
An apron or old clothes you won’t mind getting dirty. A large sketchbook if preferred but not essential.
What I will bring:
I will provide all paint, paper, pencils, inks and brushes and anything else I can think of that will allow you to have a fun time getting familiar with the subject and expressing yourself in paint!
20 years experience teaching workshops and developing my own techniques through being a collage artist and designer, turned painter in more recent years. I have made mistakes and had successes in equal measure, so know all the pitfalls and want to encourage everyone, with no judgement, to create and express themselves!
