Gelli Plate Printing / Collage Workshop
One day workshop Sat 10th May 9.30am - 4.30pm
In this session we experiment with various gelli plate techniques to create your own collage papers and help you understand how you can use your results as part of your creative process, or in your finished artwork, or as finished artwork in its own right. Be careful, it’s addictive!
The morning will be spent creating lots of gelli plate images and textures, and in the afternoon we will learn how to glue the paper to a professional standard and cut and layer to create beautiful collages that you will take home with you.
What you will need to bring with you:
An apron or old clothes you won’t mind getting dirty.
What I will bring:
I will provide all gelli plates, paint, paper, pencils, inks and brushes and anything else I can think of that will allow you to have a fun time getting familiar with the subject and expressing yourself in this fun and accessible medium!
20 years experience teaching workshops and developing my own techniques through being a collage artist and designer, turned painter in more recent years. I have made mistakes and had successes in equal measure, so know all the pitfalls and want to encourage everyone, with no judgement, to create and express themselves!

£90 with all materials provided and you can take all your artwork home.
