3. Gelli Plate Printing (Tues am)
Tuesday 12th August 9.30am - 12.30pm
In this session we experiment with various gelli plate techniques and help you understand how you can use your results as part of your creative process, or in your finished artwork, or as finished artwork in its own right. Be careful, it’s addictive!
What you will need to bring with you:
An apron or old clothes you won’t mind getting dirty.
What I will bring:
I will provide all gelli plates, paint, paper, pencils, inks and brushes and anything else I can think of that will allow you to have a fun time getting familiar with the subject and expressing yourself in paint!
20 years experience teaching workshops and developing my own techniques through being a collage artist and designer, turned painter in more recent years. I have made mistakes and had successes in equal measure, so know all the pitfalls and want to encourage everyone, with no judgement, to create and express themselves!
Where is the workshop?
Studio 3, Stapleford Granary, Bury Road, Stapleford, Cambridge, CB22 5BP
Limited free parking is available on site, if full please park respectfully in nearby roads.
When is the workshop?
Tuesday 12th August 2025, 9.30am - 12.30pm
How much is the workshop?
£35 with all materials provided and you can take all your artwork home.
There are only 8 spaces available so this is a small workshop and I will be fully hands on to help you and answer any questions.
