8. Creative Sketchbooks (Fri pm)

£35.00

Friday 15th August 1.30pm - 4.30pm

This session explores different ways of keeping you inspired and using your sketchbooks to aid your creative journey, dealing with creative blocks, experimenting with different techniques and developing your skills.

You will be provided with a sketchbook that you can keep and full access to my extensive supply of art materials, and we will also look at different ways of making your own books out of your own artwork - great for those who struggle with keeping a sketchbook going.

What you will need to bring with you:

  • An apron or old clothes you won’t mind getting dirty.

What I will bring:

  • Sketchbooks

  • I will provide all paint, paper, collage materials, pencils and brushes and anything else I can think of that will allow you to have a fun time getting familiar with the subject and expressing yourself in paint!

  • 20 years experience teaching workshops and developing my own techniques through being a collage artist and designer, turned painter in more recent years. I have made mistakes and had successes in equal measure, so know all the pitfalls and want to encourage everyone, with no judgement, to create and express themselves!

Where is the workshop?

  • Studio 3, Stapleford Granary, Bury Road, Stapleford, Cambridge, CB22 5BP

  • Limited free parking is available on site, if full please park respectfully in nearby roads.

When is the workshop?

  • Friday 15th August 2025, 1.30pm - 4.30pm

How much is the workshop?

£35 with all materials provided and you can take all your artwork home.

There are only 8 spaces available so this is a small workshop and I will be fully hands on to help you and answer any questions.

If this sounds right for you please go ahead and book your space below!
